Families, this year we will continue our work learning about Mikmaq culture and understanding Treaty Education. Last year, we focussed on the seven sacred teachings. We will continue to work on this as well as focus on learning about the residential schools, importance of the treaties and the medicine wheel and learning some basic Mikmaq greetings and key words.
