(Holiday Support)

• Feed Nova Scotia – COVID-19 Food Box Program: A short-term initiative that provides home delivery of food to families in Nova Scotia. Anyone facing this situation can call 211 on weekdays between 8am-8pm and they will help determine if this program is a good fit.

Holiday Support – If your family is in receipt of Income Assistance and received a pink slip, the deadline for support is November 6th. For those who do not receive Income Assistance, the application deadline is November 10th. • The Salvation Army Christmas Assistance 2020 – Halifax Regional Municipality.

The Salvation Army Maritime Division provides Christmas assistance such as toys and food support for children and families in need.

• NS Home Heating Assistance Rebate

The Heating Assistance Rebate Program helps low-income families in Nova Scotia with the cost of home heating.
Rebates range from $100-$200. Families can apply until March 31st, 2021.
